For something totally unique, Vida Flores classes teach you the fundamentals of flower arranging and give you plenty of opportunity to make your own creations. We can tailor classes for individuals and groups.

One-on-One

For a hands-on intensive experience, our one-on-one classes lead you through the basics of flower arranging which will allow you to make elegant creations for your home.  $250, including all flowers and materials.

Groups*

Our two-hour group classes are a fun way to learn more about flower arranging. Perfect for a birthday party with a difference or as a corporate event, these classes combine an hour of demonstrations from a floral professional with the second hour providing you with hands-on practice. We can provide wine and cheese to make the experience extra special, and at the end of it all you will have your own unique creation to take home with you.

*$150 per person, minimum of 6 persons.

Vida Flores floral design school is for individuals who enjoy flowers and wish to use their skills at home, or as a hobby. We also run a specific introduction class for those wanting to take up a career in floristry.
 
Our classes run from 10am -12.30pm on either a Thursday or a Saturday.
 
Simply find which class you would like to do and pick a date.
 
Everything is supplied, all you need to bring is a note book, pen and a camera if you wish to take photos.
 
The class will remain small with a maximum of ten students to ensure each person is given the most personal guidance and attention.
 
Each class has a component of flower care and buying tips, a demonstration and then hands on, where you get to make your own flower arrangement, which you will then get to take away with you.
 
Either come by yourself or get a group of friends together for a fun few hours together. We are happy to offer individual times if you have a group of 10 and you would like a specific topic.
 
We continue to run our one on one classes for those that like a concentrated learning experience.

Hand tied Bouquets
 
The number one technique in floristry today is a hand tied bouquet. From little posies to grand displays this is a technique that is endlessly versatile and with a bit of practice easily learnt.

Vases at Home
 
Create gorgeous displays at home, with a few simple techniques that don’t take loads of flowers to make a special arrangement. If you have a vase that you struggle with, bring it along and we will show you a few different ways to use it. We will also show you how to choose a suitable vase when out shopping.
You will get to take away your creation in a vase at the end of the class

Party Flowers
 
Coming into the party season it is great to know how to finish off the party atmosphere with some fun and fabulous flower arrangements in your home. We will give you some tips and ideas to create some stunning displays that will impress your guests.

Christmas festivities

Evening class
 
This is our only evening class for the year, so we think it is important to celebrate while creating festive decorations and displays using lots of candles and fairy lights.
